How to remove Comments from Admin bar?

The Disable Comments feature in WP Adminify allows you to not only disable comments but also customize the WordPress admin experience by removing unnecessary items. One such item is the Comments option in the WordPress Admin Bar, which appears at the top of the dashboard. Removing it can help declutter your admin interface, especially if you do not use comments on your site.

Follow these steps to remove the Comments from the Admin Bar:

1. Access Disable Comments Feature in WP Adminify

To begin, log in to your WordPress dashboard:

• Navigate to WP Adminify > Security > Disable Comments

2. Enable the Disable Comments Feature

Ensure the Disable Comments feature is activated by switching the toggle button to Show (green). This enables the configuration settings related to comments across your site.

3. Select the Option to Remove Comments from Admin Bar

In the Disable Comments settings, scroll down to the section that contains additional options for comments-related settings. Here, look for the option labeled Remove "Comments" from Admin Bar.

• Check the box next to Remove "Comments" from Admin Bar to remove the comments icon from the top toolbar in the WordPress admin interface.

4. Save Your Changes

After checking the box, scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and click on the Save Changes button to apply your new configuration.

5. Verify That the Comments Icon Has Been Removed

To confirm that the comments option has been successfully removed from the Admin Bar:

• Navigate to the WordPress admin dashboard or any page on your backend.

Look at the top bar (Admin Bar). The Comments icon should no longer be visible.
