How to show post thumbnails in RSS Feed?
By default, WordPress does not include post thumbnails (featured images) in RSS feeds. However, you can easily configure your RSS feed to display post thumbnails using WP Adminify’s Media Settings feature. This provides your feed subscribers with a more engaging content preview.
1. Navigate to WP Adminify Media Settings
First, you need to access the Media Settings in the WP Adminify panel.
- Go to WP Adminify > Productivity > Media Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Enable Post Thumbnails in RSS Feed
Once inside the Media Settings,
- Find the setting labeled Post Thumbnails on RSS.
- Toggle this option to Yes.
This option allows featured images to appear in the RSS feed for all your posts.
3. Save Changes
Once you've enabled post thumbnails in the RSS feed and configured the thumbnail size:
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Media Settings page.
- Click Save Changes to apply the new settings.
4. Verify the RSS Feed
To confirm that the post thumbnails are now being displayed in your RSS feed:
- Go to your site's RSS feed URL (usually, it’s yourdomain.com/feed/).
- Check if the featured images are visible along with the post titles and descriptions.
