How to Add any ACF field as Custom Admin columns?

WP Adminify's Admin Column Editor allows you to integrate any ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) into your WordPress admin dashboard as custom columns. This feature is especially useful for users who rely on ACF to manage additional metadata for their content types, making it easier to display and manage this data directly from the WordPress dashboard.

Steps to Add an ACF Field as a Custom Admin Column:

1. Activate the Admin Column Editor Addon:

• First, ensure that the Admin Column Editor addon is activated within WP Adminify.
• Navigate to the Addons section in the WP Adminify dashboard and download and activate the Admin Column Editor.
  

2. Access Admin Column Settings:

• From the WP Adminify dashboard, go to Admin Columns under the WP Adminify menu.
• Select the post type where you wish to add the ACF field. For example, if you're working with Posts, click on the Post option from the sidebar.
• You'll be taken to the Admin Column Editor interface, where you can see the current columns for that post type.
  

3. Adding a Custom Column:

• Click on the Add New button at the bottom right of the column list.
• A dropdown list of available column types will appear, as shown in the image. Scroll down to find the Custom section, where options such as Shortcode, Function, and Custom Fields are available.
  

4. Select ACF Field:

• To integrate an ACF field, select Custom Field as the column type from the dropdown.
• In the next step, you’ll need to specify the exact ACF field you want to display. This is done by entering the Field Name (the key of your ACF field).
• You can label the column as per your requirement for easier identification. For example, if you're adding a custom field for a product's price, you can label the column as Product Price.
  

5. Configure Display Settings:

• You can adjust the width of the column by selecting a percentage or pixel value. The width setting allows you to control how much space the column will occupy on the dashboard.
• Reorder the column by dragging it up or down in the column list to prioritize its placement.
  

6. Save Your Settings:

• After configuring the ACF field column, click the Save Settings button to apply the changes.
• The new ACF field will now appear as a column in the post type list on your WordPress admin dashboard.
