Remove unwanted Admin bar items
The WordPress admin bar provides quick access to various features and functions. However, not all of these are necessary for every site or user. WP Adminify’s White Label Settings allows you to clean up the admin bar by removing unnecessary items like the WordPress logo, site name, comments, updates, and more. Here’s how you can remove unwanted items from the WordPress admin bar.
1. Access the White Label Settings in WP Adminify
To begin, log in to your WordPress dashboard:
- Navigate to WP Adminify > White Label > WordPress White Label Settings.
2. Select the Admin Bar Items to Remove
On the Admin Bar Cleanup option, you can choose which items you want to remove from the admin bar:
- WordPress Logo: Uncheck this option to remove the WordPress logo from the admin bar.
- Site Name: Uncheck this option to hide the site name.
- Comments: Uncheck this option to remove the comments icon from the admin bar.
- Updates: Uncheck this option to remove the updates icon.
- "New" Button: Uncheck this option to remove the "New" dropdown menu, which allows you to quickly add new posts, pages, etc.
3. Save Your Changes
After selecting the items you want to remove:
- Scroll down and click the Save Changes button to apply your settings.
4. Verify the Changes
Once your changes have been saved, refresh your WordPress dashboard:
- The admin bar should now reflect the items you have removed, offering a cleaner, more streamlined interface.
