Show post/page ID in a custom columns
WP Adminify’s Custom Admin Columns feature lets you display important information, like post and page IDs, directly in the WordPress admin panel. This is essential for developers or site admins who need to reference specific content programmatically or when using certain plugins.
Follow these steps to show post/page IDs in custom columns:
1. Enable the Custom Admin Columns Feature
Before you can add custom columns, ensure that the Custom Admin Columns feature is activated:
- Navigate to WP Adminify > Productivity > Custom Admin Columns from your WordPress dashboard.
- Toggle the setting to Show to enable this feature.
2. Select "Show Post/Page ID Column"
Once the feature is enabled, you will see multiple options for custom columns. To display post and page IDs:
- Check the box labeled Show Post/Page ID Column.
This will add a column displaying the unique ID of posts and pages in the WordPress admin post/page list.
3. Save Changes
Once you’ve selected the option to show post/page IDs:
- Scroll down and click Save Changes to apply the settings.
4. View Post/Page IDs in the Admin List
After saving the changes, navigate to:
- Posts > All Posts or
- Pages > All Pages
You will see a new column in the list displaying the Post or Page IDs for each item. These IDs are now easily visible and accessible, allowing you to reference them as needed for development, plugin settings, or content management.
