To create a custom welcome widget:
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to WP Adminify > Productivity > Dashboard & Welcome Widget.
2. Enable Dashboard & Welcome Widget Option.
- Toggle the switch to Yes.
3. Select a Page or Template
You can display a custom page or Elementor template in the welcome panel. Here’s how:
In the Select Page/Template dropdown, choose either Page or Template.
- If you select Page, you’ll need to choose a specific page from your WordPress site to display.
- If you select Template, you can display a pre-built Elementor template.
4. Choose the Page or Template
If you choose Page, the next option will allow you to select from the list of available pages in your WordPress site.
- Use the Select Page dropdown to select the page you want to display in the welcome panel.
5. Adjust the Panel Height
You can control how tall the custom welcome panel will be by specifying the Panel Height.
- Enter the desired height in pixels (e.g., 600px) to ensure the panel fits your content appropriately.
6. Enable or Disable Dismissibility
If you want users to be able to hide the welcome panel after viewing it, toggle the Dismissible option to ON.
- When enabled, users can dismiss the welcome widget, making it disappear from the dashboard.
7. Assign User Roles for Access
You can control which user roles can see the custom welcome widget:
- Use the Allowed User Roles dropdown to select the roles (e.g., Administrator, Editor, Author) that will have access to the custom welcome panel.
8. Save Your Settings
Once you’ve configured all the settings for your custom welcome widget, scroll down and click the Save button to activate the welcome panel.
